Rsr replica

Hello guys,

I would like to change my 1982 sc coupe into a rsr 3.0 replica.
One of my questions are the wheels?
What size does fit? What brand offer them?
I want badass wide wheels on it!
Any help and tips are welcome.

In attachment a picture of what the result should be.

I would explore some custom offset CCW on 17. That way you have more tire choices and badass look you want

Nice. But impact bumper RSR to RWB cars are complete different animals. IMHO

If you are into RWB check VOLK TE37. In custom offset.

RSR 2.8 had 11 inch wide rear
RSR 3.0 had 14 inch rear I think

You are probably looking at custom wheels - there are many wheel makers around - we used Bogart here in Phoenix to make some wider barrels for our Kenesis wheel canters. We have both the BBS looking Gold spokes and the Kenesis 5 spoke wheel centers. Pics attaches . . .

Our 78 911 SC with Turbo wide fenders have 17" - 10.5" rear and 9" front - 245/315 Hoosier tires. Spacers are often used to place the wheel in the right location to the fender. Our wheels are 5.5" backspace (back of hub to inside outer wheel lip).

Regards,

Ok Thanks,

Looks nice!

An other question. After a lot of looking at cars, I decided to go for this one:
Not a 3.l look but, if i'm not mistaken, a 2.8 rsr.

Where can i find a bodykit for this?

Thanks!

If you want to go old school long-hood check out this thread. There are a couple of companies that offer body parts and kits. What you want is going to take some custom work, it seems.
My WAY over budget /backdate/lightweight/hot rod.

Wheels are budget killers. Especially if you want the real deal center lock Fuchs.

These are a lot cheaper. It all depends what you mean by badass.

Build some three piece fuchs or BBS E50. Otherwise there is no other option.

I noticed Pelican has Braid replicas in 15 x 12". Nice. I wonder what tires would fit those?

This car was a custom built backdate by RS-Werks. It has Turbo Flares that were hand reprofiled for a custom look.

That car was custom built by RS werks in Delaware. You should contact them
Www.rs-werks.com. This week he finishes my RS outlaw and begins work on my widebody outlaw which will be phat!
