Rubber mallet... I bought a set in 2012 and all went on easily. Had to get a replacement wheel (due to impossible to fix balance issue) and had to be very persuasive with a rubber mallet to get it on. I think my cap may no longer fit in a regular Fuchs now...

I thought the same with mine - got new Porsche caps and they fit tight, but not impossible. Make sure the cap is "started" before you whack it too hard and it'll pop right in. If the center cap catches on the wheel it doesn't matter how hard you hit it, it won't go. Just a matter of having it set in the right position.

Bringing this thread back to life...no matter what I do I cant get factory Fuchs center caps on Euros. I've spent the last two hours attempting to get just ONE on a wheel with negative results. I'm about to get a Dremmel Tool out. The hole in the Euros is just way too tight.

They will loosen over time when you balance the wheels. So keep an eye on them and re-tweek to get a tighter fit.

For giggles, I tried another set of OEM Fuchs caps on the Euros....same problem. There is a full 1mm+ of material preventing the caps from even getting "started" on these wheels.

I wish I had a mic to get an ID measurement...but I don't.
I will tell you that one wheel accepted all 4 OEM caps with the expected effort (and that was not easy)...the other three wheels are WAY off the mark in accepting these caps. Clearly some variances in manufacturing...or a heavy coat of paint in there.

Ditto. Rubber mallet - hard! But no going back to regular Fuchs I fear.
