Funny Porsche Ads
What oddball and funny Porsche ads have you come across over the years?
The "drive as often as you can" post had an amusing ad in it: (unfortunately in 2 pieces, and I don't have photoshop to splice them together)   While reading some older Excellence issues, I came across this little Gem:  It's our 3rd school closed day this week, this time for a whopping 3.5" of snow. As daycare follows school closings, I'm at home babysitting with my son and daughter (22 Months and 5 yrs respectively) and her friend (6 yrs), and the ad rings quite true!  They're currently all downstairs with a pile of paper and a pile of markers while daddy enjoys a cup of coffee and muted noise. Probably not very smart of me...

I love the last ad. When I first bought my car...everyone told it it was impractical, and that I should buy a minivan. I need to frame that ad.

On Cable, the add for Cayenne = F1??? I guess the Turbo Engine maybe. I never seen 7 people in an F1. My .02

I can't find it but my favorite is the one with a 911 ( I think) and the hook at the bottom.... proof the germans didn't invent speed bumps.

My wife just reminded me of a quote from the movie Crazy People. It's a movie about people in a psych ward making ads for a commerical company. Basically some commerical employee wanted to stop lying about products and start telling the truth.

I can't seem to find it but I came across one in Automobile magazine reading "Test driving one is first base, Owning one is going all the way"... My ultimate favorite though is the classic "Save the Whales poster" Featuring the coveted 930... I'll bug the guys in parts this week and see what other good ones i can come up with. I did get some nice retro posters at the Academy this week though.
