Rotor thickness?
What is the difference between 69-83 rotors and Carerra rotors?

Carrera rotors (84-89) are 4mm thicker than stock SC (78-83).

Carrera rotors are 24 new, SC rotors are 20 new, not sure about the early rotors

Bill, that's a very useful page. I will keep you updated with the 917 calipers. I have found a supplier who used to work on these back in the 60's and can supply new 38mm pistons for £13 ($20) each and seals for less than $2
