68 gearbox into 69 car
What do I need to know?
Obviously flanges, CVs and driveshafts are different... what combo will work? I have an earlier 68 push type clutch too - which I'd like to use, so there is a different cable as well? Any advice and experience welcome ![]() Cheers

I think this swap is straight forward. There were minor changes but the should be identical.
This website has a pile of info... 901 Series Porsche Transmission I did a 911 into a 915 car and then later swapped the 911 for a 901 which required drilling and tapping the case for the clutch plot ball shaft. We also swapped out the stub axles (hubs) to run the early axles.

Those early transmissions actually were installed in some early '69s. My 911E has one.
