When is the 997 expected?

Being that I really do not like the 996 (Except the C4S-996). I sold my 01' Boxster after I saw some posts about the 997. I am now saving for one of those to add to the collection. Unless, I find another Speed Yellow 993 in good shape, I will be waiting a long time. Any time frame? 2005?
What are the lastest rumors on the 997. I saw the picture in the last Excellence. I love the fact they are going back to how a 911 "Should" look. Now if Porsche could only make the car "worth" the $70K-$80K (i.e. standard features. leather etc.) I guess I could always buy a nice M3 for much less.

It is expect mid-next year (2004 for those of you still hung over from new years eve...).

I have to say that I think Porsche are moving back in the right direction with the 997, if the spy shots are anything to go by. Nice car.

It will be interesting to see what they do as far as price (but then again... you never know what might happen, they may drop the price, they have been known to do that in the past).
