86 Heater backdate stock exchangers???

Hi I am refurbing an 86 carrera. I had my Motronic box fixed by Steve Wong and he flashed my eprom for stock heat exchangers, cat delete, and sport muffler. So, I want to delete my engine heater blower, auto heat controller box/handbrake assecmbly,as well as footwell blowers. I purchased an older lever style Ebrake as my manual heater controller, and removed my auto heat box. What do I connect to the contacts on the ebrake heater levers, and how do I run heater ducting to the stock exchangers. I live in Florida, so dont need heat that often. I am a little confused by the whole heater setup frankly! Thanks for the help!

Levers operate the heater flappers via cables. Contact for the levers are not needed as the rear blower has been removed. You need backdated tin and connectors to run heater tubing from the top of the motor to the exchangers. Do a search and start collecting parts.
I did this on my 86 many years ago and other than driving in freezing weather at idle, the heater works fine with just the engine forcing air through the exchangers.

Why you should backdate your heat on a 3.2
