Question Are Porsche Prices Headed Back Up?

I'm in the process of selling my SC, and although I hate to see it go, it looks like the buyer is really excited to get the car. For some odd reason, seeing someone get the car that will really enjoy it takes the sting out of selling it.

Should I head back to CA, I'll definitely be in the market for another 911 (one that'll pass CA smog of course)!!!

I've been perusing some of the sites, and noticed that even average SC's are listed in the $15K-$18K range. Late 80's cars are in the low to mid $20's, and the prices go up from there.

Is it my imagination, or are Porsche prices creeping back up?

Unfortunately, I think you're price estimates are at least $5k high. You haven't been reading the back of Excellence have you?

One ad from the 1-15-03 Portland OREGONIAN: "2 Porsches is one too many. 89 911 Targa, great cond. always garaged, needs new home. Sacrifice $15,500 OBO. 503-297-8888"
disclaimer time: I've never looked at this car, have zero interest in buying it or selling it, and I'm only making this post to provide information.

Well, that doesn't surprise me, because there are at least 10 Targa's for sale to every coupe..........

You give me hope... Im just starting the selling process... and my attachment to the car (first P-car) is strong enough for me to be very critical of the buyer... I hope he/she will take good care of my baby.

Asking prices and selling prices are often... far apart.
