Possible scam????
I mistakenly put this in the classified ad section so here it is here now:
I posted my Carrera 4 on CL with only the phone number. I got a text from a Texas number for more info including e-mail and VIN. I sent email and told him the VIN was in the ad. I immediately got an email from a company called LotBlok with a questionnaire link and said the the buyer would contact me within 24 hours. I did not open it. Then I get a second request by text for the VIN. I cut bait after that. Phone number was 1-469-513-9726, name was Cortez. The e-mail had the name Dakota. If anyone can add to this? By the way. I have a 2002 C4 for sale. |

Most likely crap. I would think that the first thing any serious buyer would do is pick up the phone to call and actually have a conversation, even more so for an older expensive car like that. Expect to get tons of spam e-mail now.
