Any easy way out of the trunk with a battery tender cord to a power source with out
coming out the trunk lid? I feel like I'm risking chipping the paint, especially on cold days. Is there any other way to pass the cord from inside trunk to outside?

I think if I leave it on the first click, it somehow runs down the battery. Must be a light or something. Maybe. BTW it's a 993, but no one seems to answer on that forum.

There is a light on the underside of the hood on my '84, but with the lid closed to the first latch, the light is out and won't pull down my battery. So I just run mine tender cord out the front.
