Help

Any easy way out of the trunk with a battery tender cord to a power source with out
coming out the trunk lid? I feel like I'm risking chipping the paint, especially on cold days. Is there any other way to pass the cord from inside trunk to outside?

I think if I leave it on the first click, it somehow runs down the battery. Must be a light or something. Maybe. BTW it's a 993, but know one seems to answer on that forum.

You can pass the cord out the front, leaving the hood ajar. Also, look inside the smuggler's box and you will see some large holes that provide access to steering components and outside the trunk.

Charger.

Your charger should very easily overcome the 250ma draw
of your frunk light.

Best,

Gerry

Mine just hangs out the front lid, has a rubber plug for covering +/- terminals.

Not mine, what I have is a maintainer, doesn't really charge, just stays ahead of letting the battery go dead. But perhaps you're right.

If you can't close the lid pull the fuse on the trunk light. Since my lid DOES close with the lead extended out, I don't have that issue.

My lid can be clicked but not shut all the way and light is off while my maintainer is hooked up. I am sure it doesn't matter but I kind of like the thought that the slightly opened lid with the carpet lifted off the battery allows a little ventilation in there while the battery has a maintainer / charger on it. Just a thought...

My Battery Butler maintainer allows the frunk to be completely latched close with no fear of paint damage.
