switching the speedo and tach areas

hey guys, hoping I could get some input...on my '82 SC I do NOT like that the TACH is in the center and the SPEEDO is to the right...does anyone know if these can be swapped? the sizes are different so I imagine that I'd have to get new faces, etc. any help would be great...

I think you will be getting into a lot of work to do this. If you can't see part of the speedo you can easily rotate it so that a more relevant speed range is visible.

The tach is sooo much more important than the speedo.... why would you want to switch??

hmmm, this could get interesting. to address your request, I would think that you could potentially get the speedo to fit in the tach hole with an adapter, but to get the tach to fit in the speedo hole would probably require either a really big hole saw or a new smaller tach. Just out of curiousity why do you NOT like the placement of the tach/speedo??
