77 930 turbo spoliler secondary grille part number
Hello!
I have a 77 US spec 930 and Im trying to round up all the parts to complete my rear spoiler. (My car was missing the original spoiler...ouch!!). I am trying to determine whats the correct part number for the smaller secondary grille on the spoiler. Please notice that my car is a US spec 3.0 930, so the secondary grille is the larger version (not the smaller european style). What would the correct part number be for the US spec (larger) secondary grille? Would 930.559.041.01 be the correct PN for the grille I need? |

Yes that seems to to be the correct PN for the larger auxiliary grille for A/C.

But how could you know if that diagram is listing the part numbers for the US spec car and not the European spec car?

Because that is the same diagram I have been looking at and the only one I have been able to find on the whale tail.

You can do what Porsche dos currently when you order the bigger one.
Cut it out of the G model engine grill. |

Part nr 14
If you put the original big vent spoiler grill on flat surface you can see the curve easily. If you have trouble finding the spoiler grill you can use nr 14 perfectly as a donor. ![]() |

Thanks for the info. Nice to know there is another option.
But.... I actually contacted my local Porsche dealer here in Peru and I had them quote 930.559.041.01 and they said it shows in stock and they would have to import it. Like I said this is the authorized Porsche dealer. I wonder if this part number would be correct for the US spec (bigger) secondary grille. It was pricey though. Like 400 bucks!!!! But that includes all import costs to Peru. |

The 77 US version came with all options including a/c and that's what the 01 version is for, working with the interior piece that covers the fan so the air is brought across the a/c condenser.
