1969 911E targa Restoration Part 1: Rust Repair

I went to Baltimore Maryland today and dug out this cream puff 1969 911E targa.

This is the owner's back yard. It was "pretty solid" when he sat it on dirt 10 years ago (I lifted it up onto some old 914 wheels and cleaned it up for the pics)

It's a very repairable car imo and the color is Crystal Blue. What you see is all i get.

Unless that shell belongs to a $400k car, or ALL the parts are sitting someplace else... its completely worthless.

I'm not sure you can call this a restoration.

Good luck, keep us posted on your progress.

We went to Baltimore again today to collect the S-optioned, Crystal Blue, 1969 911E targa today. It went well and we're all safely home. We found many of its original parts including front suspension, 1/2 of the rear suspension, stabilizer bar painted crystal blue, Stn Stl. targa hoop cover and rear targa glass. One S caliper was also present.

E Tacho..
