'81 911SC: What is this plug just below the glove box?
I was swapping out my stereo and noticed this plug wasn't plugged in, so I plugged it in, now wondering if should have figured out what it was first. Anyone?

That is a factory plug that, basically, allows the wire loom to pass to the other side of the bulkhead. It plugs into the female socket which is affixed to the bulkhead and the loom continues on the other side. I'm not sure, on your car, which circuits are carried by that loom, but it should be plugged in.

Pretty sure it is the blower motor wiring.
