Mysterious relay

I asked this question before but got no answer. In my 84 Targa, in the front of the trunk right next to the washer pump is what appears to be a relay. Removing it does not affect the wipers, washers or headlights. It is clearly original equipment. Anyone know what this is?

only curious/don't know the '84.. does it have the factory wires and plug.. do you have an air compressor with your alarm for air horns.. is the relay 30 directly to battery.. I'm probably off base.. so it's screwed to front bulkhead??

HI, I think that relay is for the headlamp washer pump.
