New 911RSR at Rolex 24 at Daytona

Fellow Pelicans

As I'm sure most of you heard, Porsche recently updated their RSR by moving the engine forward (their press release avoids the word "mid-engine") in order to be able to utilize a larger diffuser. One of our colleagues' family is at Daytona and were nice enough to share some close-up photos of this incredible work of engineering. What do you all think, does Porsche have what it takes to take the crown this year?

The rear diffuser portion is kind of fugly. I know it must work, but I guess I'm just used to seeing a rear bumper going all the way down.
