Targa80's restoration web page
I started to strip my 80 SC for restoration during the Xmas holidays. With a digital camera in hand I have taken some pictures and have setup a web page. The motor will be coming out of the car this friday. I hope to take more photo's as I progress. I believe this is not going to be a fast process but hopefully a very rewarding one.

very nice, keep the pics updated.
i'm doing a "photo record" of everything i'm doing this winter to give the car a history, plus they'd make a great coffee table book......that's what i'm doing with mine

Paul:
Yes, I have learned to appreciate the color over the last 11 years so the Mocha Brown color stays. There has been many a time when someone would say that's a nice black Targa only to realize it isn't black. One thing I did notice was the rust in area's that I did not expect. Both front and rear window channels have rust in spots and the fender well brackets behind the headlight sockets.

Good luck with the restoration. I have an 80 Mocha SC as well and get the same comments all the time about the black... I think the color is really distinguished and is really indicative of the 1980's era. Keep me post on your progress.
