Don't worry - it will happen. And it will feel good. And all the little troubles you'll still have with it will mean that you get to work on it AND drive it. Lots of quality time!

Cheers,

Sorry, should have put a bit more info in there. I am counting the days until the engine is done and I can put it back where it belongs.

it's ok, at least your car still has an interior, fenders, quarterpanels, and the suspension still in place, my poor 914 has about 5 years before it's even near completion, i feel your pain

I think I could use one of those right now. This is after I took it out. It was my first time dropping the engine. 3 hrs total time, Thanks to Waynes book.

Slider, I like your wheels. I'm wondering, are you using genuine C2 turbo wheels with spacers or did you buy the replicas? Also, if you have any pics out in sunlight or in a scenic setting I'd love to see 'em........email them my way: ZAMIRZ@sbcglobal.net

thanks,

amir

They are replicas and were on the car when we bought it. Super heavy but I liked the look, so we had them redone in black.

We had a little bit of a driver error. Its amazing how fast those darn exhaust valves bend.......

Good thing is, it will be nice and fresh with 964 cams and a little bit of head work when we get it back. I am also going to redo my custom muffler setup.
