Rennline floor panel rattle fix

Good morning guys,
I have to admit that rattles and squeaks drive me nuts. For the longest time I have noticed a metallic sound when go over bumps. It sounded like something loose in the trunk, like a wrench or tool. After eliminating that, I finally noticed that if I punched the beautiful perforated aluminum floorboards from Rennline, I could get a metallic rattle. Well it stands to reason. These roughly .10" aluminum panels replace 3/8" wooden panels. They are bolted at the bottom, but fit loosely into slots at the top. I made wooden wedges to tighten the fit at the top, two on the DS one on the PS and now they are solid. I may change the material on these wedges in time, but for now, it's one less rattle to attack my senses.
Good luck,
Dave
