help identifying a part

cleaning out the tunnel on a 72T and found what appears to be a nylon type of channel. it is deteriorated but it looks like some type of spacer,, i could not locate on any of the parts schematics. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like the bush for the throttle linkage rod that runs through the tunnel. No. 13 on the PET.

Or the idle control plastic on the accelerator line, long ago broke down.
Under the handle between the seats.

They are both right- they appear to be chunks of both the hand throttle valve lever and the middle throttle cable bush the other two bushes are located 1. Under the shifter and 2. Under the rear access panel where you are likely to find more chunks. Replace all 4 pieces now while you have easy access.

thanks for the responses, i think it is the throttle rod link.. i would never have guess it, as it looks like a part that should be metal.
