key blade needed flip type ...

Hi guys need a key blade like this but with the profile for 80's Porsche, I am instaling a keyless system .
picture 2 is the profile needed

you will either have to fab one up or try swapping lock cylinders out to accomodate the new type blank.

I am instaling a keyless remote for doors and I need a blade like the 1sr picture but with pic 2 profile

VAG (VW) guys usually cut a regular key and use that to fit it into the switchblade type of keys. The profile on VW keys is not the same as porsche though. There might be more work required, as in welding extra material where the key screws into the rotating assembly.

If you want the top key to fit the lighted SC style key head, you need to build, weld and cut so it looks like this.



Unless there is enough meat on the flip blank to dremel it down to fit the head. I've down it with old plastic headed keys.
