H4 conversion w/ H5 rings

I searched when I was doing my upgrade and didn't find anyone who had done it reusing their old H5 rings.

Anyway I ordered yellow H4 Hella lenses, 40W H4 led lights, the older H4 light holders, a generic beetle headlight bucket and lense assembly and reused my H5 ring by grinding out the interior lip until the lens would fit. In the picture below I still need to paint the interior bucket black.

I mounted the old H4 holder in the H5 bucket and they're still adjustable, so the light is held by the fender, not the headlight trim. The H5 trim holds the lens and bucket and is held in by the clips.

Yes, it's a 7" led from Amazon. They're marketed as fitting Harley's and Jeeps.

Can we get more pictures, please? Really interesting! I personally would like to see the fit on the fender/ring and how the lens sits.
