Job well done. I have my bumpers front and rear ready to go. I just havent got round to doing it yet. My car is alos black so you have given me more inspiration to make the conversion sooner rather than later.

Has anyone ever figured out a way to mount a splitter to the Ruf front bumper?
...or a source for one?
Running a 3.8 wing on the back now, and the rubber vertical dam in front does not provide
downforce in front necessary.
The shape of the bottom of the Ruf front bumper is not a flat plane, has a bit of an arc in it, that is aesthetically pleasing but makes it difficult to mount a true splitter.

Thanks,
Nick

Make your own, we did. ABS plastic, patience, and about 20 rivets to the underside lip -

Heh. Doesn't mean there wasn't one. Photos of my daily driver in Hampshire a couple of years ago for a discussion about ride heights:

Sorry about the gloom. November in Blighty...

For the other poster, this splitter is just a rubber strip sandwiched behind an aluminum strip, pop-riveted to the base of the bumper cap.

It's pretty hardy (I've replaced two pop rivets in 12,000 miles), and ground clearance is rather better than the factory splitter on a 944 with US ride height. You do need to remember to go on/off ramps at an angle...

Why yes, you should

Sure, I drive it everyday. It owes me too much to sell it. And 400 FWHP isn't going to bore me anytime soon.

It's no longer in the UK, though.

Sorry I didn't see it when it was in the UK. Where did you source the bumpers?

More wholesome Ruf goodness. These are BW repros, just waiting on the nerf bars to install. Plus an early Carrera tail and a custom MK muffler

I'll have to say thank you to this thread, to make the fitting a lot more
easy, with all the good info about the bumpers.
