This has been an awesome story. We really appreciate sharing this with us. I almost find myself wishing something would happen to my engine so I could watch/help it being rebuilt. Almost.

Well done! Thanks for keeping us in touch with the story, I've been following it avidly. Gorgeous car. The day I see a lime green 2.7 Carrera for sale I'm having it! (Incidentally, there was at least one lime green one, got a picture of it in a brochure.)

matt, the diary was great.we could all use a friend like john. he was graciuos with his time and knowledge. i have been reading the diary every step of the way.the car looks great and i hope it gives you miles and miles of smiles. congradulations, now dont sell it

Well done! Gotta get the miles up before the "President's Day" outing on the track this Sunday, man! I like Jack's idea of an all-nighter to get the miles up!
