Should we do a 20th Anniversary Pelican Parts car calendar? - Need your input
Pelicans! We are looking for your input and feedback on a possible idea. We are possibly looking to do a unique calendar to celebrate Pelicans 20th anniversary. We wanted to have all of you submit pictures of your vehicles (similar idea to our poster) to be selected to be used for the calendar. We are wanting your feedback on a few things:
1. Price - what would you find as a fair price to pay for a unique Pelican calendar - $15? 2. Would you like it to be open to all makes and models or Porsche specific? 3. This goes off of question 2: Would you like an option of 2 calendars, one Porsche specific and one for a mix of all makes? 4. Any input you'd like to suggest for the calendar idea?.. i.e. something like: would you like them numbered?.. Possibly signed by Wayne? etc. Let us know your thoughts and we appreciate any input you provide!

This would be a fun thing to do. :-)
1. Price is reasonable, I would take pre-order or a poll to see the interest and act accordingly. 2. Yes, all types but again a poll would help guide you, cool thing would be Pelican's car. 3. Poll it :-) 4. How about Caps, Shirts and/or Mugs Stickers/Badges, Tool bag???

Good idea, sounds like fun.
1. Price is good $15 - $20 is very reasonable. 2. All types should be included. 3. You could do two different options. One with just air cooled, another with water cooled. 4. Signed by Wayne would be fun, badge included nice with the expectation of a higher price.

I'd like a classic air cooled exclusive calendar - don't need it signed as I'm not into that type of thing. Some original classics and some customs would suit my interest.

I think Porsche only, with 12 pages it would be tough to pick, there are so many great cars.

Yeah, why not?
1. Keep it under 25$ 2. Porsche only. What a question ![]() 3. See answer 2 4. No numbers or signatures needed You could choose several pics per page and arrange according to age, originality etc.

1. Calendar YES....$15 is great!
2. Air cooled would be nice, but perhaps two versions of the calendar for air or water? 3. Include my car and I'll buy several (5 copies for my mother) 4. No signed/numbered special editions necessary. |

How about a project calendar? Before and after pics in each month of projects from the forum.

Great idea.
Price is good, I'd pay a little more. A good quality large pic calendar would be cool. I would love an air cooled version. Pics of cool 911's of any sort. Yeah, I'd buy it.

Great Idea!
I think the price works, and even a little more would be ok. I too think that a large format would be nicer than perhaps a standard size and would be willing to pay for increase. As many have said, I favor the air cooled, but would buy either way. btw, like the idea of bgyglrr of projects before and after too |

Price: up to 20, ok. If a larger format than usual, maybe more.
Porsche only ! Maybe even 911 only ? I'm partial to aircooled, but I think both should be included Why not go for an unusual format (size-wise and layout-wise) with big high quality pictures ? Inspiration might come from the 911 big format brochures of 74-75 and the calendar made by "werkcrew" a few years back - I loved it ! |

Nice concept and will be a hot seller.
Recommend multiple photos for each month, say 9 per month and each month covers a group of years. Groups: SWB, LWB, mid/late 70s, Turbos..... all 911 models. This would allow max opportunities for members to have a chance to get selected. Vr, Scott

There used to be an air cooled calendar each year that was produced on here by one of the users. Didn't it end because of some kind of cease and desist from Porsche?

You could take photo submissions from Pelican members of their own cars. Vote on the top 12 to be featured.

I need a calendar with heavy stock paper and room to write stuff in the squares. To a certain degree, bigger the better
