Wheel stitching
Greetings.
I was wondering if any of you had any recommendations for upholstery steering wheel stitching? The original leather on the wheel does not need to be replaced as it is in great condition after I dyed and resealed it. However, I am looking for someone to restitch the wheel as the stitching was all frayed and removed before reconditioning. Thoughts? Thank you in advance. Ruxin.

YouTube has easy to follow instructions for the proper cross stitching.
Checkafow posted on 12/7/14. Bought $8.00 of needles and thread at fabric store. Took 3 hours and three beers to redo stitching. |

Dallas Steering wheels did a perfect job on mine.
It is not an easy task to do, and make it look right. Sometimes the pros are the best option.

I did mine too, as part of the new leather recovering kit.
