Can the window channel be replaced without taking the door panel off?

If it isn't glued in, yes. Basically, you pull the old one out, spray silicone down the channels and on the last 12 or so inches of the new rubber and start to feed it in with a flat screwdriver blade. when it doesn't want to go anymore, raise the glass 2" and hold the screwdriver on an angle against the felt, and resting on the edge of the glass and keeping downward pressure on the felt. Lower the glass and follow it with the screwdriver. Repeat as needed. Don't silicone the upper part of the felt channel that goes into the visible frame.

John, thanks for that suggestion. I will try it this weekend. I am assuming that no adhesive is needed, that the channel is a pressure fit?
