brakecalipers

Have a 75 US Carrera and need the rear brakes redone.Are the calipers on this car the same as on the 911SC cars?can I use SC rear brakes rebuild kits?

If I remember well they can differ because you should have M calipers (iron made) while SC should have L calipers (alloy).
A photo of your calipers can help

PMB performance is my go to for rebuilds. I've rebuilt calipers myself and never will again after seeing their work.

I purchased a restored set of calipers from them and the quality is unmatched.

The price is very fair IMO.

yes and yes

all 911s from '69 through '83 use the same M calipers in back

is there a tech article for rebuilding the late S style caliper anywhere? I have them on my new to me 75S and would like to delve into them

PMB restored my 930 Calipers - outstanding job - you can't duplicate the same results on your own - you get what you pay for!

Unfortunately as of now, we only have the above two DIYs on the rebuild - if you like, post a Comment under one of the articles with your questions about rebuilding the S calipers and our master tech could shed some light into the process...hope this helps a bit.
