Rothsport ITB 3.2 new build
This is our most recent build for a customer. It is a 3.2 with 964 cams, unleaded premium pump fuel, custom 964 resonance plenum, stock cylinder heads, B&B headers with heat, our custom shortened 997 muffler, tailpipes will be configured to exit cars bodywork, Motec M84 dual lambda, coil on plug with external ignitors. A duplicate intake is being painted the same color as the upper valve covers.
269 hp with a long flat torque curve. Assuming the t-piece for the air filter and the one below with the resonance flap also fit a 993 plastic intake?

Whats the width of the muffler? By shortened do you mean the entry to the muffler?
Although there has been a reasonable increase in hp and torque, im sure with the ITB this engine is rather snappy. Why did the owner choose not to increase the displacement? |

I went the 997 muffler route also. it's pretty tidy and was able to be modded to work with my SSI. That said, the SSI's im using may be too small for a 7500 rpm 3.0.
