Bilstein rsr with no insert
Hi, I'm looking for a set of insert that will fit those front struts(far right on the first picture). The problem is that I don't know if they are home made of if they are real since the spindle doesn't seems to be raised. Any Idea?
Thanks Émile http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1493130175.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1493130175.jpg |
Are you sure they have not been raised by 19mm?

they are the same height as the bilstein strut next to them on the first picture.

I think it would be worth measuring them. Here is a link that will tell you how;

I got 3.5 inch instead of the 4 inch shown on the picturehttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1493155368.jpg

Lindsey Racing has an RSR Bilstein package. They have 12mm raised spindles. 12mm = 0.472441 inches. That would make it close to them.
12mm may be desirable for someone not wanting wheel weights on the inside of the wheel. https://www.lindseyracing.com/LR/Porsche/911-BIL-RSR-KIT-1.html |
where can i find individual insert to put in those struts?
|
You will want a Bstein insert valved to the springs. Assuming everything else is a regular Bilstein there will be many suppliers, including Pelican Parts.
