Finally... A proper "badge holder" for my M491
Like others with tea trays, whale tails, and even duck tails, I have been looking for a way to properly attach - and proudly display - both my PCA badge and my local PCA Region (Maverick) badge. I tried several things, none of which was satisfactory. Then I hit on the idea of actually going to the trouble to make something "nice." The problem is that there's just a limited amount of real estate for these things and only so many options.
The attached photos show the results of my efforts. The badge holder is made from 1/8" aluminum stock and is powder coated matte black. I made it so that it can be installed either above the license plate or below. I chose to install it over the plate, the consensus around here is that "over" is a much better look. THanks for loking at this completely trivial project! Rob ![]()

Yep, "Can't put a badge on the engine grill because of the ac condenser..." and because it's not very visible, unless you are a pigeon, or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (!)
