how to remove side window trim to fix rust spot?

I'm not quite sure how this spot happened, but it's surface only. On the other hand, I need to get in there to remove all the rust.

So is it fairly straightforward to remove that trim piece?

Next question, is there a recommended spray touch up paint for Porsche? Luckily the car is black.

It just pops off. You will need to get underneath it with a flathead screwdriver or putty knife.

Maybe use a plastic trim tool to prevent paint damage.

Link?

I should have also asked, there's two pieces of trim there. One along the glass and one just above the rust spot. Do I need to remove both or will the one blocking the rust spot come off on its own?

Thanks.

Pry up here with a flat wooden stick. Or as I did just use your fingers. Spring type clips hold it in place

Perfect, thanks.

Now that I know how it comes off, I'll mask up the area before I do so.
