Agreed Value/Total Loss
If anyone has experience or advice, either antecdotal or professional, with respect to a total loss under a collector vehicle agreed value plan I would like to discuss my current situation via email or PM. Without going into too much detail, I had my vehicle substantially undervalued/underinsured. Understanding there may be no recourse, I would still like to explore all options. Thank you for your time and expertise and thank you to those on this and other forums for their continuing support and referrals as I wade these waters. This will be cross-posted on Early S. Thanks, again.

If not at fault, in most, if not all states you have the "right to be made whole", ie, as you were before the accident. Litigation may be necessary if the other party is uninsured/underinsured. If you caused the loss, good luck!

Thanks for the response. "Made whole" likely will prove to be subjective, especially for me, who like so many others in this forum, is so closely attached to his car. In that regard, although I would love to be "made whole," I understand that this is a bar I must set in order to get close to replacing my car. I am also curious as to whether or not the "right to be made whole" applies to agreed value insurance and I will need to look into this further. Again, I am learning as I go through this and welcome all advice and suggestions. Maybe the answer is in the threads you linked, which I greatly appreciate.
In the least, opening up a discussion such as this will help myself and others in the future. It is a privilege and a joy to own and drive these cars, which makes losing a 40+ year old 911 that his been in the family since new even harder to stomach. Thanks again.
