Fuchs replicas generally will NOT have date and sizing stamping, right?

Go ahead and snuff out any lingering irrational hope that I end up with a spare set of original rims....

Thanks!

Consider yourself snuffed

Tom, I have no recollection of ever seeing replica Fuchs with date stamps. That said I haven't seen every model of replica but I couldn't see a reason for stamping unless the manufacturer did so for their production records and even then, I don't think it would be the same as the original stamp.

Tom: Do your wheels contain porsche part numbers? Another common thread on all "real" fuchs I've seen --

No, not that I can see assuming that the stamping "Dude, look, these aren't real Fuchs" isn't a valid Porsche OEM part number.

Kidding aside, good info.

Thanks.

I would say that almost all of the replicas will have the date stamp and size marked. 100% sure on size being marked.
It's generally a manufacturer norm to do this for there records and potential warranty etc.
