Are you typing in the dark, Razor?

It is a shame that you couldn't rent a p-car. I know I'd like to drive one there. Oh well...

I'd hate to be the guy that mans the "rental beer return" booth at the airport.

Oh sH#t, I was just in Frankfurt. If I would've known...So, John, where in Frankfurt? Gotta be prepared for the next time I'm there.

BTW - how much deposit do you get back if you return the beer you rented in good condition?

Have rented Jags, Porsches and seen an occasional Ferrari at the Budget/Sixt lots.

German keyboards have the "z" and "y" keys reversed (seriously).

Avis rents Porsches also if you are returning it to the same place it was rented from.

Glad so manz friends posted to this thread. I'm missing good ol' USA.

The AutoBaun was soo cool. Zou can go as fast as zou like. Had a 3-series BMW, but onlz 4 czlinders. Followed a 993 for a while, but once some free space cleared, he was gone.

Zes, zou can rent p-cars from Avis, but thez didn't have anz at the airport. Sixt offered a Ferrari for one week minimum, but it wouldn't be readz for todaz's trip.

So if zou do come to Frankfurt, plan ahead and have the p-car reserved in advance.

BTW, Mercedes and BMW's are easz to rent.

Time for a beer.

"azerty" (that's my French keyboard, also used in Belgium)(for both the French-speaking as Flemish/Dutch speaking)
"quertz" is keyb-GE (German).

I learned to type in high school in the U.S., then moved to Belgium (azerty) then worked in Germany (quertz) now back in Belgium.

You get used to driving on the left side of the road quick enough (all you have to do is get beyond that first turnabout...)
