I was watching a 3.2 dyno at Gameface with Steve W and they installed those straight trumpet pipes to the SSI's. Holy Shiznet! It was crazy loud and almost loosened my fillings, I even had ear mufflers on

Holy Smokes SuperCharged? Damn you scary. Well if you do go 2 out you can cap one side to lower the music for your neighbors and let her hair down for the Track/D.E.

That's what Steve W did for his track 3.2 until he customized his exhaust to the GT3 like set up. It is freakin amazing. I am going to try to video it if he lets me. :-o

I suspect that much of that sound is also induction sound. You would be surprised how much noise comes out of the intake trumpets of a car with MFI or carbs. That's one of the primary reasons that Porsche designed the elaborate air-box over those systems rather than just go with the simpler and cheaper rain shields.

Sweet. My car sounded like that at idle, kinda big-blockish. It was not quite as raucous at full throttle, but close. I have a M&K one-in, two-out RSR style w stock HEs on a stock 3.2.

It set off all the car alarms for blocks around. I finally put a baffle in one side (the driver side is almost a straight shot from in to out). It calmed things some, but I do get a few nasty stares. Oh well, if you can't please everyone, . . .
