Recovering rear seats on 911SC
Can anyone point to a specific how-to guide or video for recovering REAR 911 seats? I bought new leather covers online for the rear and it doesn't look like it would be that difficult to install them, but maybe I'm missing something. I have in my possession:
1) Hog pliers 2) Hog clips 3) 3M adhesive spray 4) The old covered seats 5) The new leather covers consisting of 8 components: 2 center bottoms, 2 center backs, and 4 side bolsters Any other tools or parts needed? |

There is a board under the carpet on the seat backs. Originally the leather and carpet were glued and stapled. I picked up a pneumatic stapler with some specifically narrow staples to best match the old ones. Crazy as no one will likely ever see but felt right.
My preference on contact glue is the Weldwood 'Landau top and trim HHR solvent type' The only stuff I have found that is high temp and will likely last at least as long as the original factory glue. Best of luck.
