Okay folks, the wheels are here. Well, there is one catch - I only have the hubs in stock for 1974-89 right now - I will be getting the early hubs from Germany in the very near future, so hold tight.
Here is the link to the page where you can order them. I have plenty, but for now, it's a limited stock, and I need to get more from Germany if I run out. Sooo, if you want one, I suggest that you order it in the next few days. Otherwise the replacements might not come in until after the holiday season. I have pleny of gold and silver crests in stock for you to mount on the steering wheel. I also have a fair number of spacers in stock. Here is the link to where you can buy the wheel: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopcart/911M/por_911M_911REC_main.htm Thanks, and enjoy! -Wayne

What about those of us with newer cars?
And why is it that I have to ask this so often?

I wonder if anyone carries the small contact rings that live inside the 930S wheel? I have fouled mine up so they are no longer functional (don't ask how.)
Can I buy 930S innerds?

Well, I didn't need one of these when you first started the discussion about it.
Then I drove my car into a wall. Thanks, Wayne.

I was driving directly into several tons of concrete, with amused indifference, when my overly-developed pen-holding hand snapped my 930S wheel like a twig.

I'm kinda hoping that this new wheel will help steer me away from any of those hard immovable objects that might spring forth upon my route and be determined to ruin my day! Damn Jack, that is still such a bummer.

Jack, do someone a favor - give Moses the contact ring in your old wheel...
Problem solved! -Wayne

My previous question about the badge hole was never answered; are these pre-drilled ? I'll buy one if the crest is NOT installed and there is no hole already drilled for it ( i.e. it looks good without the badge )

Right - there is no hole for the crest - you need to drill and install it yourself (not difficult)...

My SC has a hood badge and nothing else, that's my story and I'm sticking with it. Time to spend more money, thanks Wayne. |
