New Seat Frames
The Upholstery on the front seats of this 1967 911T is in very good shape. However, the springs are SHOT! No support whatsoever. Where do I go for new frame/spring sets for a Porsche of this vintage? Thanks.

Why not try an upholstery place?
I'm sure they would have bulk lots of various types of springs. You might even want to go softer or harder depending on your own preference. Bob

We have a place a few towns over that I should go visit. I hadn't even thought of them. Thanks.

1. Wrecking yard.
2. Examine the newer seats - they are lighter and use foam, so maybe it would be easier to do it that way. Paterk in NJ seems to be the PCA guru on this. |

Paterek makes these old seats feel great. I drove a '62 Roadster with Paterek seats. They were better than my '96 Suburban, which has great seats.
