Coverking Car Cover

My wife bought this Coverking car cover for me as an early birthday present. Purchased from our host, it was delivered in 9 days from placing the order. Really is a beautiful, high-quality cover that's more like a form-fitting moving blanket. I highly recommend it for the ultimate in Porsche protection.

They even make one specific to ducktails, which is very nice. I used one for a while when I had to park my car outside and the only downside is that it seemed to retain moisture against the body. This was the outside cover as well.

I love the look of that one for interior protection--I'm always afraid I'm going to knock over a ladder into the car!

Have had a Coverking for years, though of lighter weight.

I was impressed by the options for rear spoilers and price point. Arrived quickly and fit perfectly. Saved some scratches many times over the years.

I may have to look at this variety as it appears to have more cushioning.to protect from dings.

Nice form fit, not floppy left over material! It looks like it can take a bump from a falling rake etc. or anything passing by like a bicycle handle bar. CoverKing has to be the premier cover indeed.

One thing I can say about covers in general is that it makes for better, undisturbed rodent harborage, combined with the little heat coming off the battery tender. Pest control is imperative, I use snap traps and glue boards. I currently use a simple generic cover, mainly for dust rotection, or when I’m moving something bulky or awkward near my car. But the way that CK fits, I might look into these.
Keep in mind a cover can actually mask a ding or dent caused by a clumsy act of another…contractor with a tool box, overloaded tool belt, trying to squeeze oversized boards thru the door.

Also, I see you have you car on jack stands w/o wheels.
In my opinion, this storage practice might be bad idead…even if only trying to keep the tires “round”. In case of emergency (with tires on) I can at least roll the car out of harms way. I have an attached garage, so in case of fire, if time permits I can roll my car out by removing a chock.
Just my 2¢.

EC900 - I totally agree. Normally I store the car with wheels/tires mounted, and tires pumped up to 50 psi to prevent flat-spotting. This year was tire replace year and after getting 4 new tires mounted, I just stored them in the basement. I have an unheated garage and live in Wisconsin so protecting the rubber against the cold for at least one winter seemed a good idea.

No one commented on the cat litter box beneath the engine?? It's not to catch oil drips - engine does not leak a drop (honest). It's for the mouse-catcher (cat) who never catches anything. Traps do a much better job.

dkirk: Cold isn't the enemy of tires, but heat and sunlight are. However, as a practical matter, no one's garage will get hot enough to cause the tires to deteriorate. Unless it's on fire!
