Replacement tie rod boots?
I remember someone posting a source for the little rubber boots on the tie rods.
I think they were generic or made for another tie rod end application but they fit and worked on 930 tie rods. One of mine is torn but the tie rod is fine... I thought I saved the link but can't find it, anyone know where you can buy these? thanks, Jim |

Reviving this old thread, I have the same issue (rubber boot torn both sides). Any idea?

Replacement rubber tie rod boots with the metal snap ring are hard to find but if you look around long enough they're probably out there.
I used these way back then and they worked well. It might have been me... the link in this post has all kinds of sizes of boots. I think I posted something similar on pelican as well. Same screen name.

Excellent, thanks nine9six. Did you reuse the metal snap ring at the bottom or does these come with a new one (I assume that's what you had trouble with).
