Upholstery - SoCal area?
So I noticed the driver's seat bottom cushion seam is starting to separate on my Carrera.
Does anyone have good experiences with upholstery shops in the SoCal area, preferably the south bay or even northern orange county (I hate driving up north...) I'd actually like a shop that will do the seat areas in cloth, with the backs staying vinyl. Or maybe just the center seat inserts in cloth. I'm a big fan of the pinstripe fabrics that I believe could be had on the 928. Thanks! |

Ditto on this request. My Carrera seats are tired and hot. Anyone re-done them in Alcantara and leather?

I live in the San Diego area. National City auto trim on 15 E 5th street National City 91950. She replaced the black leather center seat area on the passenger seat on my 911 for $125. Then just a few months ago she replaced bolster and side seat area with black leather for $125. She used the correct perforated type leather on the seat part. Cannot tell. Also, my friend in the OC brought his seats from his 912E and National City AT recovered them in a tan vinyl for a very good price. My friend was happy.Owners name is Cindy. Shop has been there 50 year plus. She may have to order the leather. I was lucky, she had some leather for my car. She does hot rods in the area.

I took mine to Auto international in Escondido. They did a great job. I got me front seats done recently.
