Widebody longhood with a beastly NA motor. Superb.

I must say, I like the bright engine-interior paint with the drab paint on the outside. I was going to paint my Honda CB350 satin black, and bright red under the fenders and gas tank. Reminds of my dark gray suit with shiny red liner...

What are your goals? Track car? Daily driver?

Yea, leave the exterior primer gray. That would be perfect for this car, seeing as it is so over the top in every respect.

Lol.... Yeah. Chartreuse with. Granite grey interior. Goal is a spirited daily. We added a 6 speed too. Not one thing has not been fabricated. We did all stainless oil lines and put them inside the rockers. Been working on it for 2 1/2 years but well worth the detail and craftsmanship.

I hear ya. I am very low profile but the color I picked was anything but. The build is pretty over the top so I wanted to at pay respect to what it is. Chartreuse was a special order in 72 and on the 73 rs plus I like the unusual colors on the early 70's car...just seemed right.

lots of custom touches on the tub.

Love the shaved rain gutters. Really cleans up the car and modernizes it to match the widebody and drivetrain.

Can't wait to see the rest of this.

Thank you....appreciate the nice words. I really like to keep focused on the details that you see and don't see. This is my first 911 project car.

What transmission? Did the tub get modified for a G50? Short bell housing? I can't imagine a 915 will be happy behind (in front of) that monster motor.

Interesting oil line crossover mounting. Is that a front oil cutout too? Seems like a big space for such small lines.
