Paint code?

Can anyone help me with the paint code for my car. I have gone to paintscratch.com but it looks close to several of the blues. It is a 70 911T.

Porsche Crest

Is the paint color code data plate missing from your car?

paintscratch.com is not very complete with respect to cars earlier than about 1980, and their color patches are notoriously not reliable, either! Plus, the '70/'71 color code system numbering that Porsche used was about the most complex ever devised, with different codes for coupes and Targas!

Looks like Metallic Blue to me, which paintscratch lists only the Targa code for, L8410, but the coupe color would have been L8484 ... per the factory service manual.

It's hard to tell with just a picture, but the color looks very much like mine …

On my 73' it's called # 334 - Medium Blue Metallic … in 72' it's #324 - same color … it was an optional color

'Paintscratch' does have a # 334 Metallic Blue Clearcoat

I believe the color came out in 71' … but who knows? … It was still available though about 76'
