High Torque Starter - Rebuild Kit?

My High Torque starter (from Pelican) finally crapped out.

Anyone know a compatible rebuild kit for these?

Might be a moot point since I have to take the car in to Mr. Walker tomorrow for service, but just thought I'd ask.

Romaine Electric in Seattle will have any parts you need. Look them up on the net. Usually the solenoid is dirty and needs a good cleaning.

That kit includes replacement parts and motor contact disc for the solenoid.... if the malfunction is in the solenoid. If you can find one, an automotive electric shop should be able to rebuild/repair it.

The contact disc on the plunger and the two other contacts were all well worn.
From my reading, that seems to be the main mode of failure with these types of starters.

Disassembly is simple... remove the three screws in the solenoid cover, then remove the jam nuts holding the posts in to the sides of the solenoid.
The whole plunger just slides out and is replaced (retain the spring), and you replace the post contacts with the correct shape contacts from the kit.

I inquired at Romaine Electric (recommended above) but they said it would likely cost as much as a new starter for them to rebuild mine, due to their minimum labor charge.
