Illuminating the Porsche rear plastic nameplate?

Random Friday thought while it "snows" (heh, heh) here in the ATL and I debate closing my office to prevent pandemonium. I was wondering if anyone has tried to illuminate the Porsche rear plastic nameplate above the bumpers. In other words, putting a light or two just behind the plastic to light it up.

Don't know if there's even enough room in there for any lights, or what it would look like if done. I tried searching the forum but no luck.

TIA
Frank

It could be done with micro LEDs but you'd have to remove the silver/gray backing to let the light through. And how would that look? It would be really easy to mess it up. Honestly, it sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

As mentioned more trouble than worth, but having PORSCHE lit up seems a bit gaudy IMO....The car will stand on its own merit by it's style, look, stance and performance...you can always go back to the 1985 and affix the earlier nameplate where PORSCHE is clearly spelled out bit not illuminated....just my two cents, but if you do-all the best for you.

Does anyone have the step-step instructions?

I really like the way the 991's have the center reflector illuminated on the 4S models. It is subtle and really looks cool at night. I wish my '10 4S panel did that.
