Source for G series radio mounting stuff ?
So, the 74-89 911 has the opening in the dash for either a din or shaft style radio mounting.
A client is after originality for his 1974 and has the correct Blaupunkt radio with the recessed plastic surround plate. From my recollection, these shaft mounted radios used a slide on bracket that would engage the sides of the body, beneath the foam face. There was one on each end of the face, that slid over the shaft On the back side the radio was supported by a satin black U bracket that pinched the center of the unit We are looking for these pieces ! Thanks in advance Dave ![]()

Scott Turnbull (active in the classified section - search on Blaupunkt) should have what you need. I just bought the rear support bracket from him a week or so ago and he had several more.
![]() The correct dash face clips are getting very hard to find. ![]()
