looks cool, is that an early, long hood, widebody, cab with 993 style lights??

Very cool idea if that's what I see. Either way, keep up the good work.

Tail end w/ RS bumper rough fit. I have had the car about 12 years now, what started out as a minor repair of surface bubbling on the fender, turned into a total strip down, full body pan replacement, custom rockers, still undecided about the final engine...

I'm looking at your picture just now, and the more I look at it, the more I can envision of what it will look like when it's done....

I think it will look kick-ass! Nice concept from a stylish perspective....the "design engineers" over at Porshe should've made something like this, something that actually looks like a 911....keep the pictures coming.

What's your schedule for completion and what are specs (engine/transmission) for this car? great job

Breakdown

I wish I could take credit for the creative design, but it is really my mechanic in North Carolina. He wants to finish with a "speedster" windshield with a custom top.

The car started life as a '68 912 targa. It now has turbo flares all around, custom rockers, and the headlights are off of a new mini cooper. RS bumpers front and rear with the front turn signals to be incorp into the front bumper.

Still undecided about motor and trans, do want to upgrade to a 911 motor with a stronger transmission.

Hey you're from NC? Whereabouts...I'm in Raleigh. Fill in your profile info with your location!

I think you sent me some pics about a month ago- there's no mistaking the custom front fender work. Interesting project!

I agree with the speedster rag top for you car, would look very cool.
I was wondering the other day if anybody had ever chopped the roof on a wide body coupe? The speedster roof line is way cool in my book.
The 944, 968 cabs had a little lower roof than the coupe about 1"?, which looked nice too.
Cheers

Hey Zephog, welcome aboard! Nice project, keep us informed with your progress...btw, I work in W-S. When you get her 'road ready, you'll have to join us in a 'NC pelican drive'...but based on our recent luck, you'll need snow tires!

LOL got that right KC... I didn't even notice you're in W-S.. Zephong,We'll have to meet up sometime to see each other's projects.

Those look like recovered seats from a 70's or 80's 911.. but I don't know my seats very well. Someone other than me can answer much more definitively.
