Sometimes you just have to make a tool

Didnt want to drop the motor, but needed to get the swingarm bushings off. None of my wrenches were deep enough, or were too deep. I sacrificed one 22mm box wrench and about 3" of bar stock. Worked like a charm. Not pretty but effective!

Could you have used a 22 mm box end wrench?

There must be more to this story or you are one strong dude!! Didn’t you need more leverage to bust that nut?? I just found too much interference from various lines electrical, fuel and brake on the left side of my 87. I succumbed and dropped the drivetrain in order to gain unfettered access. Good on you!!

I think you might have just made a 22mm offset box end wrench. If it worked, it worked!

sometimes a hammer can replace leverage, haha
or use a steel pipe to lengthen the tool
